Plaintiff Turner appeals from a district court order denying social security disability benefits. Both the court and the Secretary held that the plaintiff had not established a prima facie case. Turner presents alternative arguments to support his claim that the Secretarys decision is not supported by substantial evidence: (1) the plaintiff is entitled to benefits under ? 12.04 of Appendix 1 of 20 C.F.R. ? 404 without regard to his age, education and work experience and (2) even if not entitled to benefits under Appendix 1, the plaintiff is so entitled when his mental and physical impairments are considered in conjunction with his age, education and work experience. We affirm the judgment of the district court.
